Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are extremely important to a small swimming club like ourselves.  We need volunteers to help with the running of the club to help keep finances to a minimum, whether it be setting up, supporting at events and much more.  Small swimming clubs struggle due to the financial burdens of pool hire, staff costs and other finances, so any help is very much appreciated!

Please note, all positions will require DBS checks by Swim England, even if you already hold a current DBS check.

General Volunteers

Volunteer Coaches

Coaches are an important role to help develop the swimmers.  They support our Head Coach by mentoring and teaching the swimmers the correct techniques they require to be the best they can.

Team Managers

Team Managers are used at events to help with ensuring the swimmers are available for any upcoming races and advising when and where they need to be.  They offer support to the swimmers as we understand nerves can get the better of us sometimes or just have nice general chats and laughs with the swimmers to make them feel comfortable

Poolside Volunteers

Poolside volunteers can cover a variety of support such as setting up equipment before and after the sessions, announcers for club only events, event time entry and many more. If you think you can spare some time, please get in touch.
