
Join Wisbech Swimming Club
We welcome all ages and abilities of swimming to request a trial at Wisbech Swimming Club. To join Wisbech Swimming Club, you will need to swim a minimum of 25m unaided. For learning how to swim, we recommend using Freedom Leisure's swimming classes or Grange Farm Swimming School who both offer excellent learn how to swim lessons.
During a trial, every swimmer is assessed by our coaches, who will identify the potential for your swimmer to progress to offering a place at Wisbech Swimming Club. Some skills our coaches will assess:
- Technique
- Passion
- Team work
- Following instructions
- Breathing
If you have any disabilities or personal issues, Swim England is very inclusive for everyone. There are guidelines and forms to allow those with disabilities or personal issues to swim and compete at the top level. Wisbech Swimming Club’s young swimmers made an excellent start to their Junior Fenland League title defence on Saturday evening, with both the A and B teams delivering strong performances. The Wisbech A Team dominated their gala in Mildenhall, finishing comfortably in 1st place with 156 points. The squad produced 34 personal bests and an impressive 29 first place finishes, capped off with victory in the final relay event.
